iβve lived with chronic pain for years β the kind that hides in plain sight.
fibromyalgia slowed down my body, but it also softened my soul.
i started writing slow burn as a way to survive the stillness, to hold space for all the feelings i couldnβt say out loud.it became a quiet diary of invisible aches, whispered prayers, and small flickers of hope.slow burn isnβt a fix. itβs a companion.
for anyone moving through pain at their own pace, i wrote this for you.
...
this book is for
β‘ soft souls with tired bodies
β‘ those grieving who they used to be
β‘ anyone craving a little more gentleness in the hard parts
βsometimes Iβm not even sad. just tired.β
β slow burn, chapter 5.
βI miss who I used to be, but Iβm learning to love who I am becoming.β
β slow burn, chapter 3.
βrest is not laziness. itβs resistance in a world that demands your exhaustion.β β slow burn, chapter 7.
